How MyAppointments approaches account and data security

Security is shared between the platform and every business that uses it. MyAppointments uses managed services and application controls to support authentication, tenant access, stored files, and online payments without claiming certifications the product has not published.

Authentication and permissions

Application sign-in uses Firebase Authentication. Business access is owner-scoped, with roles and permissions used for staff and administrative workflows.

Payments and transport

Supported online payment workflows use Stripe. The production application is served over HTTPS, with security headers configured at the application and proxy layers.

Your responsibilities

Use unique credentials, grant staff only the access they need, review access when roles change, and avoid placing unnecessary sensitive information in free-text fields.
