Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using MyAppointments.io ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. The Service

MyAppointments.io is an appointment management platform that provides scheduling, customer management, invoicing, and related business tools. The Service is provided on a subscription basis with the following plans:

  • Free Trial: 7 days of full access to evaluate the platform
  • Basic: Core features with up to 2 team members
  • Pro: Full features including unlimited team members, invoicing, reports, and a customer booking portal

3. Account Responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You must not share your account with unauthorised parties
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account, including actions by team members you invite
  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise the platform's security
  • Exceed rate limits or attempt to overload our infrastructure
  • Resell or redistribute access to the Service without permission
  • Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service through automated means

5. Subscriptions and Payment

  • Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis via Stripe
  • Prices are displayed in GBP and are exclusive of VAT where applicable
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice

6. Your Data

  • You retain ownership of all data you enter into the Service
  • We process your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy
  • You can export your data at any time via Settings > Privacy
  • You can delete your account and all associated data at any time
  • If you are a business owner, you are responsible for ensuring your use of customer data complies with applicable data protection laws

7. Business Customer Data

When you collect customer information through the booking portal or enter it manually, you act as the data controller for that data. You are responsible for:

  • Having a lawful basis to process your customers' data
  • Informing customers about how their data will be used
  • Responding to data subject requests from your customers

We act as your data processor and will process customer data only as necessary to provide the Service.

8. Service Availability

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance with reasonable notice where possible. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors outside our control.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.

10. Termination

  • You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it from Settings
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
  • Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our data retention policy

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
